When did our insurance start covering children riding in city vehicles. Gordon Rhodes just left Van's Hardware with a small child riding in his City Truck.

To my knowledge the city insurance does not cover any non-governmental official or employee in any vehicle for non-official business purposes. Could it be that Danny has opened a summer child care facility within the walls of city hall?

Whomever told you that may/may not be telling you a lie....I have never known an insurance company to cover ANYONE who is in the town's vehicles. That coverage is usually reserved for elected/appointed officials of the town and employees on official town business. But then again, the coverage may be available as a plan "rider," but before I allowed it if I were driving a vehicle, I would want to see it in writing before ever allowing it.
