Here's a suggestion for current Coopertown mayor, and mayoral candaditates:

Equip the proposed new interchange lightpoles with speed monitoring cameras. This way the lights could invite travellers to exit for shopping, the cameras could mail travellers a followup greeting and momento of their visit to Coopertown, and they would eliminate the need for those intimidating patrol cars sitting on the interchange shoulders. They would be able to do this all without the $25/per hour 'special enforcement' pay.

As an added feature, the cameras could be equipped with remote controls so that they could be readily redirected toward the Interstate when the city needs to replace some missing funds.

With these kind of lights, who need's Pleasant View?

Gee Herb, maybe you should run for mayor! Look at all the monies saved by cutting the police force but still reaping the benefits of the Speed Blitz.

As mayor I'd pay for a referendum on the Charter containing 3 questions:

1) Prohibition against property taxes.

2) Prohibition against borrowing or any form of deficit spending.

3) Surrender of charter.

After the referendum, I'd resign if there is anything to resign from.
