Could it be that the mayor of Coopertown is dipping from the funds? Do the math (so to speak), he doesn't seem to have any means of employment other than mayor (a non paying job). Does his wife, a nurse, make that great of a salary to keep up the lifestyle that they live? It seems that the mayor has accused many people of stealing from the city, but never providing any proof! Sometimes he who is yelling the loudest about the wrongs is the one doing the wrong.

I ran across this post in the comment section of The RCTimes in reference to the story "Mismanagement cited as cause for police cuts".
The Mayor has a construction company? Seems he does have a lot of free time on his hands with being able to cut city grass, repair roads, replace culverts, go to all those city meetings and run the police department. I was wondering, just what it is that he does even if he owns a construction company? Seems he has a lot of time on his hands.

Well lets see Sunday night at 6pm Mayor Crosby was mowing Old Coopertown road. He works every day doing something in Coopertown! So this proves he has no job outside of the charity work he does for the city. I guess he has nothing else to do since his wife is pushing the divorce. Wonder how much he will have when she gets thru. ( Didn't hace any thing to start with) Also guess he will have plenty of time to politic when he doesn't have anything else to do. Wonder where he is living right now. Did he and Sgt. Cole move into gether. Don't forget Crosby you have to live in Coopertown to be mayor. Happy house looking.

I really don't have a problem with the mayor providing road maintenance work. In fact, the city should be paying him for the work he does so that they will know the true cost of maintaining roads. If Crosby gets voted out as mayor it is likely that we'll have to pay someone else to do that same work unless he continues to volunteer.

Gordon Rhodes would be a breath of fresh air as mayor! But if he got elected and let Crosby be road supertindent then out problems would not be solved but worsened Cause Crosby is on a power play and would not relingush his power and still be running things. I agree everything Crosby has done he should have been paid for cause there are no way of telling what the actual cost has been! I feel sorry for the next mayor and alderman cause they are going to walk into a hornets nest and not be able to find there way for a couple of years then it will be a new elections for two new alderman. Cause Mulstadt and Anderson have to go. If Gill has any sense at all he would pack his attitude and loyality to Crosby and disappear. If the mayor is not voted in Coopertown has just begun to find the true budget errors and problems.
