I'll start the Pleasant View venting. I'd like to vent about the coverage of the I-24 Exchange. Since back while Herman was Mayor, they have limited or completely ignored all the news of Coopertown. It could be a much larger paper if they included all of our goings-on. It seems to me to be downright rude to deliver to what may be half of Coopertown and exclude anything about us. I even tried to send a Letter to the Editor when we were trying to get the Middle School we now have. I was told by Mr. McCarver that if the letter was printed elsewhere (RC Times) then there was no reason to include it in his paper... even if he reached people that the RC Times did not reach in the area.

If nothing else, he could include the sports of the kids in his newspaper. I mean, PV Football even practices at Coopertown Elementary. What's up with punishing the kids?

I'm probably going to get in trouble for this but I've been mad about this for a long time!

Ann, a very good vent indeed. I enjoy receiving the 24 Exchange but it seems more and more it is going the way of a Thrifty Nickel. Seems to be more advertising and less content or maybe it's because more ads are in four color and it just jumps out at you more. The paper will have to increase in page count to cover more content. I'm not sure why the editor doesn't cover Coopertown. Maybe he will show up here and explain. You can submit stories, not just letters to the editor. Another thing is every time Coopertown makes the news it always saturated in the local news outlets due to the negative nature..
