Any new updates? How long has the extension been granted? Looks to me like a new administration that becomes seated after November will be the ones left to clean up this fiasco.

As of the last Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting on Tuesday evening, Mayor Crosby noted that he recieved a letter stating Coopertown's cost on the lighting project to be $519,000, and he has backed out of it.

Are you serious? This was another of his campaign promises to work with the other governments to bring extensive lighting to the I24 exit. And this comes from a man who just recently told the news medias he was a man who will "stand his ground" and Coopertown would go it alone. Guess not!
