I recall the police department can no longer take official cars home with them. I suspect the officers park the cars at Cole's dwelling and drive their own cars to their homes, if they live out of the city or maybe it is out of the county.

I'm am one of a few who will respond. If you notice at the bottom of the home page, the forum stats. Usually you will see about six or so registered users, out of 25, responding but will have 25 guest who don't respond. Why is that you might ask? Some fear reprisals if they speak their opinions (this is why I allow screen names so they can remain anonymous). Some work at city hall and one of them is the mayor himself! Usually when he responds he puts that size 11 in his big mouth so it's better for him to hide behind his computer screen as a guest and keep quiet.

The tickets pay your salary and don't you shop at Wal-Mart?
A little late but I just had to throw that one in there!

Sure, what are his chances of getting the job Gordon?

I would say that unless Jesse messes up,he would be the top choice. He is really doing a great job.You would not believe what all he has done in the few weeks he has been acting chief.I believe everyone on here would feel the same.

Rose's resume is not on the list to be considered. I am supposed to be in possesion of all the applicants. I wonder if that was a mistake or the way it is for all the members of the personnel committee? I think he would make a good choice from what I know of this situation but the whole Crosby asking him to resign thing smells fishy and needs a little open air in meetings I suppose to clear up the reasons. I believe Chief would be willing to come back but will Danny be against him? I think so even with Gordon's endorsement.
