The Coopertown Police Department arrested 39 defendants with 54 criminal charges, seized 133.10 grams of marijuana, answered 140 calls for service, 23 calls to assist other agencies, and 68 calls to assist citizens in the month of June. The calls for service included 15 vehicle crashes.
The patrol division’s traffic enforcement resulted in the average speed over the posted speed limit for a citation issued was 17.5 mph, and 44 percent of vehicle stops resulted in warnings.
